The world wide web can be an overwhelming source of knowledge. My own trials and errors on this adventure living abroad (and using the Internet to do so) inspired me to try to provide relevant context for the traveler and expatiate. I created this blog to share what I've learned living in the Netherlands and traveling throughout Europe. A picture may be worth a 1000 words but I know, from personal experience, links to related web material can be worth can be worth much much more. You'll find these links in bold type face among my entries.

My hope is that this blog can be as much a portal to quality information sources as it is creative visual documentation. I'm also working on map resources that will display information like where to rent/buy a bike or good places to eat or where I've taken the photos for the blog. After that is set-up, I plan to work on a section for multimedia pieces about Amsterdam. Please email me if you have any ideas or suggestion for either of these two future elements.
