An artifact from my dinner last night. Fitting that you'd find "Cool American" Doritos at Blues cafe Maloe Melo. It's located on the western edge of the Centruum and Thursday is jam night. What a blast! Musicians taking the stage around 11pm and play musical chairs throughout the night. The walls are lined with pictures blues legends and concert moments. The ceiling is plastered with performance posters. It's not a place for conversation over beers, just a lot of blaring blues grooves and moody ballads about rent, women and weed. Jerry Lee Lewis' lead guitarist Duke Danger even stopped by to jam. (Okay, I had no idea who he was before last night, but it sounded good) They're open till 3am Sunday - Thursday and 4am Friday and Saturday.

Speaking of the blues, I had my first flat tire today. Luckily, I wasn't too far from the Waterlooplien market where they have three different bike place that repair bikes.
